Bowden SunMaze

It's a small but super lovely little farm. You can see the thousand of sunflowers and it is a great place to take photos. Plus friendly staff! Check the weather before you visit there! Just one thing - please don't expect much about you-pick area.

On Sept 21st, we spent the day with our 4-grandchildren and their parents. The rabbit pen was a huge hit for the 6 and 3 year old kids (the 1-year old twins just enjoyed moving around). All the other animals and birds added another level of enjoyment before entering the mazes.
Due to Covid19, they had modified each path to have an outlet. This was very helpful for the young kids. We enjoyed walking through both the corn and sunflower mazes. The kids also enjoyed spending time crawling over/around the round bales.
Before leaving, we also purchased some of the fresh veggies from their garden. Overall, a very enjoyable day.

We checked the website to see if the flowers are blooming before making our reservation, this will ensure that we get the most out of it. We were there at around 5:15 pm as they close half an hour after sunset, this will give us a lot of time to take pictures while the sun is not too harsh.

All city dwelling Albertans should go. This place is extremely beautiful, well manicured and clean considering it's a farm.They do a great job to welcome you to get a taste of country living. Kids loved the freedom of running around and there was tons of room to socially distance. Great place to feel connected to the earth and gain more appreciation for all that agriculture offers us. Just go. We will definitely be returning.

Fun little spot to hang out and enjoy the sunshine. I wouldn't consider it a maze per se at this point, it needs to mature and will he outstanding in the next few seasons. IT IS a nice chance for the kids to run, visit some cute animals, have a picnic, and take some beautiful photos. U-pick was easy, lot's of choices, pitchforks and bags available for ease. Bathrooms were in good shape and lot's of parking.
