My son has been attending Children's House since March of 2019. He has amazing friends and loves the educators there. The educators take the kids current interests into account when creating programming and planning and it's nice to hear him talk about his learnings when he comes home. Everything from Paw Patrol, outer space, how flowers grow and what sinks and floats. He enjoys the menu and food offered, the amount of outside time provided and his friends. If asked, his favorite thing would be the Riverbottom Program. He loves when he get to go to the riverbottom all day exploring- Jenn and Leslee have done an amazing job with this program!

My daughter has just recently joined the Birch room and we are comfortable knowing she is being well taken care of while I return to work. They work with her evolving routines while she transitions and she is happy when I drop off and pick up!

I would recommend Children's House to anyone who asks because of the educators there and the relationships we have established with them and the other families.

What could change would be the large increase in fees for subsized families compared to the fees of unsubsidized families, which defeats the purpose of the subsidy. Fees for subsidized families are the highest in the city and above provincial averages.

My 2 children has been at the childrens house daycare for 3 and 1 years respectively. We love this place, the teachers and all the experiences and relationships they offer. They have some really caring and engaged teachers, they offer full day riverbottom adventures that’s way beyond I would ever expect or have heard from other daycares, as well as skating and swimming day for the older kids. We are very thankful we ended up here with our kids.

My daughter has attended Children’s House daycare since April 2020. The teachers are experienced and great at creating and encouraging learning experiences. They have an app that allows parents to contact teachers directly and see updates of activities. The teachers are wonderful at posting photos and telling stories of what your child is learning and playing.
This past year our daughter has been in the Kindergarten class. The class size is small which allows them to be more individualized to the children. They have multiple field trips and also done skating and swimming. Another awesome feature of Children’s house is the ability for us to drop off before work and pickup after work. She stays at the same location for kindergarten so no need to arrange transport. They also serve meals on site which is fantastic.

We are very happy with the care and learning our daughter has received at Childrens House. The central location is convenient and allows them to do field trips within walking distance. I feel that our daughter is well prepared for grade one both socially and educationally thanks to the team at Children’s house.

I have had the privilege of working alongside an amazing team of educators for the last 7 years at Children’s House. We provide a variety of educating styles that are supported through Alberta’s Flight Curriculum. I am always excited to get to start my day greeting our families and seeing what new interests we can nurture together!
