Chinook Pet Clinic

Wife had to take her (recently deceased) daughters' cat in as we thought her leg was broken but it turns out that someone shot her!!
Pat(wife) says: they are the most compassionate group of people, I was so distraught but they gave me a room and cried along with me (literally)! Thankfully after her surgery yesterday, she will make a full recovery.
I will never take my cats elsewhere! 💕

I could not say enough about this team. Our Snoopy was a client here since he was a puppy. We had since moved out of town a number of years ago and had not visited the clinic in a few years. When it was time to say the awful Goodbye to our labrador, we naturally wanted to have this moment with Chinook and could not have picked a more perfect place and team to share that experience with.

They have a "farewell" room that is private, has a couch and is decorated to look like a living room. It is equipped with the last treats that you can give to your bestest boy in his last moments. The team was very good about giving us our privacy and allowing us all the time we could want to spend with Snoopy on his last few moments.

When it came time for the doctor to give the medication she was very sweet, gentle and even spoke to and loved Snoopy as she did her awful job.

We were offered a beautiful selection of ways to memorialize our labrador and we chose to get the Urn and ashes. About 5 days later we got the call that the Urn was back. When we picked up the ashes there was a card signed by the staff to show their love and support as well as the beautiful box with our beloved Snoopy's ashes in it. They also went above and beyond and took a few painted paw prints from Snoopy and provided those to us without our asking.

They shared our worst moment with us and took great care of us and our boy Snoop and we will forever be grateful. Thank you to this team and they way they love their clients as I am sure these days are hard even for the staff to see a beloved family pet go on their way to heaven. We appreciate you and we thank you for helping make this moment just a little less painful for our family.

My partner and I have been using Chinook Pet Clinic for the past 7 years or so, and we've never looked back! Both Dr. Bergen and Dr. Kendra are fantastic veterinarians. I've always trusted them to diagnose my pets ailments properly. Along with great veterinarians, the support staff at Chinook Pet couldn't be better. Cary Anne comes to mind as one of our favourites. I wish I knew the names of the rest of the staff - you're all wonderful.

Prices are fair and reasonable. Both veterinarians are quick to refer elsewhere for more complicated procedures, etc.

We just moved here from Calgary and have one docile cat and one difficult cat who becomes a little feral when we take her to the vet. The vet and tech here were amazing with her. They properly and gently restrained her for her shots and check up and were pretty outstanding in her treatment, where Calgary vets have denied treatment and caused injury. It is wonderful to know that such skilled people will look after my beautiful, angry girl!
