Discovery Walk-In & Medical Clinic

Clean walk in clinic, friendly front reception and great doctors. I dealt with Dr. Francois Grimbeek and he was a tremendous help and was very kind. I am out of province and it is a 40$ cash charge if you do not have an alberta health card.

I find some the drs there a fantastic some dont listen and feel like they just wanna move on to next patient.

Was there at open, with a long line, expected to wait long. Friendly staff, easy check-in. Waited in car, as requested due to restrictions. Contacted quickly, seen once contacted. Doc was great, easily understood issue, and handled promptly, and professionally. Great experience, thanks.

Discovery Medical Clinic on 34th street and Gaetz Avenue Red Deer is a very busy clinic, but a good one. It is always really tidy and sanitized. I've been going there for many years. They take appointments as well as take walk-in patients. Sometimes there is a long wait time, depending on the time of year. But they do try to keep wait times reasonable. Some of the doctors offer better care than others, but all in all, I've had mostly good experiences there. Also, it is super convenient having the I.D.A Pharmacy right next to Discovery Clinic. This pharmacy is great with filling prescriptions quickly.
