Solace Organic Spa + Wellness Retreat

Beautiful inspiring spacious getaway! We were celebrating our 5 year date anniversary and definitely chose the perfect spot. Incredible sauna, hot tub, ambiance and locally made skincare products. The space was spotless and the loft bed was amazingly comfortable. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again! Great value for what you get. We loved the copper cups, amethyst crystals, reading material and chromotherapy. Thanks for such an inspiring space!

From the moment my husband and I walked through the gate of Julie's exquisite spa setting we felt our bodies begin to relax. Her massage therapists are intuitive and gentle, while providing a deeply relaxing and therapeutic massage which we coupled with a sauna afterwards and further unwinded til we were jellyfish. Every little detail is thoughtful, aesthetic and pleasing. A truly rejuvenating and luxuriating experience.

What a treat, the misses surprised me with a spa getaway for my birthday. The whole experience top to bottom was second to none. I’ve stayed at the four seasons spa before which was great, but loved this much more! The attention to detail for our massage was incredible, relaxing and soothing. I slightly mentioned some issues with upper back which she found quickly, worked them out in a way I haven’t had done before! It’s the perfect intimate size, with an amazing wood burning fireplace, full of scented essential oils and candles. We enjoyed tea a foot soaked bath, then on to a massage, charcuterie platter followed by a succulent salmon dinner, when we were finished we moved to the star lit sky, amazing nature in the jacuzzi with wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and a relaxing fire in the main room later. To finish the night off we enjoyed a sauna the whole while very peaceful zen music played. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Hospitable, peaceful, tucked in a beautiful nook of the Pacific Northwest. Don’t miss this gem!

What a lovely weekend spent at Solace hosted by Julie + Ryan. The island was covered in a thick blanket of snow which really added to adventure of the long weekend. The forest like setting was great to come back to at night after spending each day exploring the local farms, eating great food and some hiking. The combination of the hot tub and sauna lives up to the hype and was utilized each night. The complimentary oil and skin care products to test out during our stay was a nice surprise. The fruit, granola and yogurt were a tasty way to start the morning. Take care making your way up to the loft bed, but once up there, it feels like sleeping up in a luxurious tree house which was quite fun. With the surround sound on, logs in the fireplace burning, and the aroma of the spa creating a lovely atmosphere, Solace is a rental of great value and a desired place to relax and recharge. We miss it already and will definitely be back when we visit the island in the future. Also, thanks for plowing the driveway and shovelling the path!

A beautiful place to stay for a retreat. The outdoor hot tub and fireplace were definitely highlights. There was a bit of confusion with a cancellation but it got sorted out and the owner was accommodating. Very much appreciate the stay! Good place to relax.
