Wetherly Inn

Wonderfully peaceful place. Beautiful landscaping. Perfect getaway.

We had not been to Salt Springs in a long time and decided to be there on a Saturday for their wonderful market. I went online to find a place to stay. Wetherly Inn had a beautiful setting and we had a wonderful room with a king bed a a very big bathroom with a tub big enough for 2 people plus a shower.
One of the reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there was no television in our room. We like to watch the news in the evening when we go to bed and sometimes in the morning before we get out of bed.

One other drawback...this Inn is probably a 12-15 minute drive into town and not necessarily easy to find (signage is not great). They have a fenced property to keep the deer out and a electronic gate. When you arrive you can press a button to open the gate but when you leave you have to get out of your car, walk on the other side of the gate so you can push the button to open it. Not great if it’s raining which it was when we left.

If you want to stay at a quiet get away that is well taken care I would definitely recommend.

Words are quite hard to find when trying to explain this place. I knew when I opened the electronic gate that something special was inside but once I got to walk into the garden I was taken back. The landscaping and gardening is simply breath taking. The pool and hot tub were super fun and appreciated. We were in the west room and it was spacious and nicely decorated especially with the huge bathtub in the bedroom. The coffee and treat delivered to bed in the morning was a very nice touch too. We had a magical 2 nights and will certainly be back again. Thanks so much for the amazing hospitality.

This place is unbelievable. What a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The family that runs this place is amazing. From the gardens to the pond, the little stream, the hiking trails, the swimming pool and the hot tub. This place is a true gem. I love the breakfast there as well.

It's the best! The grounds are amazing, the people are so warm and kind.
