Best Western Plus Emerald Isle Hotel

We booked the room online, my wife spoke to one of the staff on the phone to add an additional night, at that time we asked how much to add an additional cot and were told there was no additional charge. Upon booking in we were told it would be $25 per night for the cot. The gentleman at the desk was rude and pretty much accused my wife of making this up. He actually insinuated people come in all the time and try and get something for nothing. Not exact words. We were given the cot for 1 night at no charge then it was removed. Room is clean , nice hotel but we expected far better customer service. We will not stay here again.

Simple, clean, good location. Every room (that I've stayed in) has a fridge & microwave & keurig machine. USB charging ports in the lamps on the night tables. There's a subway next door, McDonald's, shoppers drug mart, etc.

I do not know why this hotel holds only a 2* rating. It is higher by far. The rooms are lovely, front desk staff friendly and helpful, very comfy beds and pillows. 25% off the extremely good breakfast at Smittys for hotel guests. Good location and a short stroll down to the harbour. This is our 3rd stay here and I highly recommend it.

Best staff and service ever! The newly renovated rooms great! Also the cleanest I have ever seen you can tell their housekeeping staff take great pride in their work! To boot they have pet friendly room's!! Will definitely be back!
