Carmelle LeMaistre Acupuncture

I have been seeing Carmelle for the last year and she is someone I trust immensely to help guide my health and well-being. She supported me throughout my entire pregnancy from very early first trimester and now into postpartum. Carmelle is incredibly skilled and intuitive, and also very grounding, supportive and soft in nature. She is intentionally and authentically curious about your life and the ways she can help bring a sense of balance through acupuncture and other treatments. She supported me for everything pregnancy related from morning sickness, digestion/irritable bowl symptoms, leg cramps, high blood pressure, aches and pains, hormonal/thyroid support and more. I found immense comfort in seeing Carmelle often throughout my pregnancy as she always brought me so much relief and nurturing when I needed it most. When I found out that she offers birth support, I knew I wanted her to be apart of my birth team as I planned for a home birth and wanted additional pain management. I cannot express enough gratitude for how much Carmelle helped during my labour and delivery. I felt at ease knowing she was on call for me and she offered me a highly effective induction treatment to get things moving along. She then attended my birth later that day in which she continued to offer induction treatments to continue moving baby along and encouraged me with pain management through acupuncture and hands on support. It was a blessing to have Carmelle there for the birth of my son, as both my partner and I felt very respected and peaceful in our birth space. She was like an acupuncture ninja- providing treatments and healing without interjection to provide my partner and I the opportunity to connect and celebrate in the moment as a new family of 3. She also visited my home to do a treatment one week post birth to support my postpartum healing which I immensely appreciated not having leave my home. I have also brought my baby to her clinic space which is very supportive to any new parent who is not quite ready to leave their baby. I cannot recommend Carmelle enough for not only her knowledge and skill, but also the deep connection she builds on a personal level. She is my most trusted healer and now someone I consider a friend.

I have known Carmelle personally and through her profession for many years now. She has a way of making you feel calm, heard, and cared for. The treatments I have had with her have always been extremely thorough, where I not only feel a difference physically but also often come away learning something new about my body. She is understanding, patient, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I have always left her studio feeling refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend seeing Carmelle for an acupuncture treatment whether it be for a specific health concern or just overall wellbeing.

I have been seeing Carmelle for a few years for neck and tension issues from working in front of a computer all day. It has been helpful for releasing tension and for general maintenance.

Also great with kids! She introduced both my kids to acupuncture, just to try it out while they were younger. They are always excited to go in for a treatment and always come out super calm and relaxed .

I can honestly say that Carmelle has helped support my healing on so many levels, and bring my body and health to a much better place. Her style makes me feel safe and supported, and I feel so respected by her. She is so attuned and clear that she is able to get to the root of complex health conditions and provide treatments that move towards healing and relief from long-held, complex ailments.
