(July 29, 2019, 5:59 pm)A dog friendly park but they want your dog on a leash so they don't bother other park goers. There is a boat launch and lots of soft green grass for your pets to play on. You can take your dog for a swim and have it fetch a stick. It is one of my dogs favourite inner city places to play.

(January 14, 2019, 12:47 am)It is a great park. Open space for whatever you need. On the lake for great views. Tree cover for the hot summer days. Bathrooms in the summer. Nice playground for the little tykes. Not far from the dog park and Knox mountain.

(June 4, 2018, 5:31 am)Sutherland Bay Park is more than just a playground park...it has easy Okanagan Lake waterfront access for canoes or kayaks. Highly recommend for beginners...less stressful than other access points.
