Norman's Diner

Fantastic food and service! The staff are absolutely wonderful and the food is excellent. We've been back 3 times within the last couple weeks to try different things and the meals have consistently been great. I love the order/pay system, and even with a 10 plus lineup, the wait time was minimal and very fast. One of our new favourite places and a great addition to Lake Country.

I’m not sure how I feel about this restaurant. It’s a nice new addition to Lake Country dining options but I don’t understand their ordering/payment system. You order your meal and drinks and pay (with tip) before sitting down which (aside from tipping) is like fast food, but then a server brings you your order to the table which is like a diner, but then your server doesn’t check on you again which is like fast food. I’m confused. The food was quite tasty. And the restaurant itself is lovely - bright with modern decor. But if you’re going to charge diner prices, I expect diner service. It was very odd that no one asked how everything was or if we wanted anything else. I could have easily been up-sold a cup of coffee and a slice of pie after my meal... but unfortunately, no one asked!

Great staff, clean, food is yummy! Not made from frozen hash browns! There is a deep fried, crunchy option, but I chose the Norman's style hash, gluten free and made fresh in house. Perfect compliment to the Benny I enjoyed. Well done, Lake Country welcomes you.

I walked in without realizing they had already closed. They offered me a french onion soup on the house. So sweet! And it was SO delicious. Full of flavour, just the right amount of cheese. The staff there are super friendly. Definitely going back!
