Awesome hike, beautiful scenery. Well worth the visit since it has reopened. Relatively easy hike, most people would have no problem doing it, plan for 40-50 min up and back.

Enjoy picnicking at Harald's Park every time we visit ,the beach is great to just sit and watch the children play. The hike from the park to the entrance of Margaret Falls is interesting as you walk past people's campsites and are able to greet the campers there and get greeted by their dogs! We walked back to the Park beach through the campsites on the path that follows the creek, which is very scenic and allows you a nice change of scenery for the return trip.

Really nice looking campground. We were houseboating and stopped to walk to the falls to stretch and explore. It was a busy day but the trails were well kept and it never felt too crowded. The walk to the falls was super nice (shady and cool too) and the falls were worth the short walk.

In my opinion one the best parks in the interior. Plenty to do, walking the picturesque trail along the creek in the campground. To walking g to Margret falls just outside of the campground. The renting of bikes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. The sites are all pretty much private. The campground operators all seem to be very nice and pleasant to deal with. When we stayed they were around quite often with either ice or firewood to purchase from their cart. Definitely check this campground out!
