I love the airplane graveyard. It makes me a little sad but prideful every time I see the Buffalo sitting there . I guess that's how everyone must feel when they have an attachment to one of the planes out there. I really enjoy walking around checking out the old planes. Great place to take the kiddos too
It is free entry, if anyone was wondering

If you are into historical and military aircraft, this is a great stop (which you can combine to a visit to the Air Force Museum down the street). Wonderful to be able to get up close to these aircraft.

I did not go into the museum itself but I did walk through the Airpark. There are several military jets and prop planes as well as rescue planes and helicopters on display. Since they are out in the open you can walk right up to them, around and under them. All very cool. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the visit. Expect to take 30 to 45 minutes to walk around depending on how much you examine the plans and read the descriptions/stories.

Make sure you don’t just stop at the museum itself as the Airpark is further along the road. The Airpark is free entry and had accessible parking.

Great exhibits at the Air Force Museum. Small parking area at the Airpark was convenient.
