(October 2, 2023, 7:41 pm)Yesterday I had a wonderful experience with all the staff at Penningtons in Courtenay. The ladies there went out their way to find me the perfect rain coat that I wanted. I had tried several other stores, but then I drove to Courtenay from Parksville. I really appreciated their suberb customer service and look forward to receiving the Coat that they ordered for me. I will definitely go back there on my next trip to Courtenay.

However, some of the customers have zero respect for these efforts.
Today there was a woman in line ahead of me constantly stepping back into my space. While waiting she kept trying different berets in her hair, and she touched almost every set of earrings displayed.
Most people were not wearing masks and were not following the floor arrows.
I think I will start making my purchases online only.
