Juliet's kind and compassionate care has helped me so much on my healing journey for my vestibular condition. She is very thorough and took the time to listen to my whole history. Being constantly dizzy was scary, confusing and frustrating! Juliet was able to give me reasons for why I was experiencing my dizziness, and helped put me on the path to recovery. Now I'm back to doing the things I love and have the tools to help me in the future.

Ten years after I suffered a massive injury that severely impacted my physical ability and nine years after WorkSafeBC discharged me from physiotherapy under the assumption that I would never walk unassisted again, I was skeptical about trying physio again. I’d been through four or five different practitioners and, although they were mostly lovely folks in their own ways, I never felt the full benefit of their practice. And then I met Juliet at Solid Ground. Oh my goodness, my life changed for the better!

Juliet and I worked together for several months and on so many different things from setting realistic goals to building neuropathways to working out to eventually running unassisted on a treadmill! Not only that but Juliet was absolutely lovely to work with. Someone that I felt very connected to over the course of my treatment and who always made physio something that I looked forward to each week. The only downside of treatment is that I got well enough that I don’t have to go back anymore and I miss our hangouts!

I would, without hesitation, recommend Solid Ground (and specifically Juliet) to anyone who needs help to get back on track. My chronic pain may not be gone but it’s getting better and for the first time in over a decade I feel that I have the tools to make it manageable. There aren’t enough kind words for this business. You just have to experience it for yourself.
