Cumberland Lake Park Campground

Haven't camped here but done lots of hiking here. Good waterfalls to be seen. Some faces to climb with bouldering nearby. Lake is great. Clean and clear water. Decent beach and handy little business selling treats and food like burgers and fries. Gets a tad busy during summer and weekends but usually always room to enjoy if you get there at a decent time.

Beautiful lake side spot. We came in late Sept and during the Mind over Mountain race. The guy at reception was super kind and helped us out w cash for a shower. Beautiful evening spot. The nearby town of cumberland has lots to check out, good coffee and good walking and bike trails around.

Positives; lovely location right on the lake , perfect for swimming & very close to the biking trails and Cumberland village.
Negatives;
- no sani dump on site
- only 2 showers for the whole campsite
- no places to wash dishes anywhere just taps
- sites very close together
- wash the toilet and showers around 9 am so it's closed at the time most people use it
- stayed in many campsites cheaper with a lot more facilities

3 stars as it is a lovely location & cumberland is a really cool little town

A nice hideout from life. Beautiful beach. Great washrooms too. Came as part of my cycling event. Stayed a while to soak up the magic. Could have stayed the day. Sigh, had to go.
