I have been shopping here for almost a year and this is a friendly place to come in for a chat/ pick up goods on the go and meet other people doing island projects.Prices are good and not much more then the main island ( cheaper then a ferry ticket ; ) ). “Such a lovely little craft shop. You can purchase the famous Denman chocolate here as well as various crafts/art/pottery from locals. Sandy, a potter, was working there the day I went and she was just absolutely lovely to chat with! She told me that the store was run by 10 women as a collective. Amazing!”

“Great sandwich and drinks. Stopped in twice on our last visit to Denman. Highly recommend dropping in and having lunch. Some fresh baked goods are available my son loved the banana bread. They also have ice cream ! Store has a good selection of books and even some Denman t-shirts. Enjoy the back yard seating in the shade or the sunny seating out front. A must stop spot on the island.”

“Such a fabulous gem on a quiet island. The food is lovingly raised, grown, cooked and served in a warm, friendly, quiet outdoor venue on a beautiful farm. Our lunch had an absolutely delicious flavour from a unique blend of spices clearly perfected over time. Incredible mountain views and the ambiance of classic music playing quietly in the background make this a must see spot worthy of going out of the way to an otherwise obscure little island. Highly recommend.”

“There is a Clipper Creek J1772 and two Tesla Destination chargers on the corner of the Denman Community Hall building. The map is incorrect as the hall is just a little north up the road next to the playground. The Clipper Creek charger worked fine (level 2) but the two Tesla chargers would not work for our 2023 Tesla Model 3. It always said the equipment was not ready, or that there was a ground fault. Hopefully it will be repaired at some point.”

“Playground beside the building and park. Didn't get a chance to go inside the building on our visit to the island. But my son had a great time in the park next door. It's a great playground with parking out front and seating. Nice spot for a picnic!”

“The place is close to the ferry and close to a really nice hostel. It’s really crowded and a lot of people are taking their food to take away so we had to wait over 30 minutes for our poutine. I was not not a big fan of it but it might be just my personal taste. The place is ok. The service is nice. The prices are high but fair. It’s a classic take a way food shop.”
