My husband, my sister and her husband and I enjoyed our time at the Visitor Centre and beautiful gift shop. I appreciate all the work being done to create healthy habitats with native plants. I was able to purchase a heater for my hummingbird feeder at the gift shop. We also went on a tour which was so informative and gave us an opportunity to see so many different kinds of birds up close. I highly recommend a visit to MARS and booking a tour. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly.

We visited this rescue whilst on our vacation. We enjoyed the group tour which was very interesting and educational. MARS is a very important and valuable rescue organization that cares for and wherever possible rehabilitates birds and animals back in to the wild. I would highly recommend a visit to MARS to view the wildlife, especially the Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Bats, Crows and Ravens. The visitor centre itself is very educational and interesting for both adults and children and we purchased two awesome MARS T shirts. We made sure to donate before we left. We will be back next year!

This was an amazing experience for myself and my granddaughter. We both learned so much from our guide. It’s nice to know that there is such a place close by, that cares deeply for these injured animals. The fact that’s it’s totally free is mind boggling. How could you not leave a donation. The gift shop with its interactive spaces is incredible. I hope more people will come by and visit: it’s so worth it. Thank you again for your kindness towards animals and birds. We’ll be again in the spring that’s for sure.
    Cheers

Attended with the Shamrock Gumbooters 4-H club. The tour guide was a 4-H alumni, and clearly has the gift of speech. He kept us intrigued, asked questions, told jokes, and quizzed us. So much fun, we will be back in 2024! Thank you for doing such great work in our community.

An incredible wildlife rescue and hospital center. I have a degree in wildlife biology and this place impressed me! The visitor center is approachable and informative. But, I highly recommend you book a guided tour to learn about Comox Valley biodiversity, meet the ambassador birds, and pick up tips about how you can help protect wildlife. Make sure you donate before you leave!
