  If you haven’t been, absolutely worth the drive from Victoria! The location is gorgeous (they do weddings and I’m sure it would be amazing) and the food and ciders are to die for. Get yourself a flight and sample all of their ciders - the cyser is my favourite but they’ve got something for everyone (and Blue Buck on tap if you REALLY don’t like cider). Their pizzas are fantastic, and the House salad is incredible. Seriously, I can’t recommend this place enough.
  
  (And whole you’re in the neighbourhood, pay their neighbour Unsworth Winery a visit too!)

  Great place to see during the christmas season. Tons of Christmas lights. Service can be slow. They hold many events here. During Christmas we went to two set meals, one was a pizza night with the kids and another an amazing family style dinner with so much food we could never finish is we tried.

  First time there. Very friendly staff and great flights of various ciders. Will definitely go again when we visit the island wineries.

  Visiting Merridale was a pretty relaxing way to spend the afternoon. You can walk the grounds and take yourself on a self guided tour. While the self guided tour is not overly impressive, the ciders and brandy you can taste, is. We had the cider flight and brandy flight. The cider flight is what really shined, each one being a little different, everyone is bound to find one they like. The brandy was memorable as well, especially the pear brandy. They offer some food, served pub style. I had the Brie and Apple melt which tasted delicious. Highly recommend checking it out when you are in the area!
