An incredible community. My gratitude for the attention and care I received from the teachers, coaches and support staff at this place over the course of five years deepens every time I hear from a friend or family member that their school failed them. Thank you, Shawnigan!

Shawnigan Lake School provided me an opportunity that I will be ever grateful for. My 4 years was fantastic and the support I received from teaching staff and administration provided me a routine that I continue to use daily. The boarding school experience is a 24hour learning environment. My life long friendships from around the globe continue to bring a smile to my face every week.

Can't list all the ways Shawnigan is an amazing school and how much I gained from attending. But I will say that as a scholarship student who came from a very different upbringing than the majority of students there, not once through my 5 years did I ever feel 'less than' any of the other students. Shawnigan does a very good job of bringing kids together on the same level so we can all learn and grow together. Whether you are from a lower-class family or a wealthy background, students gain so much from living at school where these distinctions are removed.

Had the time of my life at Shawnigan. Only fully appreciating as I get older how everyone there made it a second home for me, no questions asked. An amazing place with such a strong community spirit that stays with you well beyond your school years.

I had an incredibly positive experience at Shawnigan, one that is pretty indescribable but overall I would say I feel incredibly grateful to my parents for making the sacrifice to allow me the opportunity to put my education first in order to discover things I never would have otherwise.
