🏴 Flag as inappropriateFirst had a great experience with some work I had done to my vehicle. Pricing was fair, timely and very well communicated. A couple weeks later I had some issues with a part that was installed. Even though the part failed (not the install) they took care of it no questions asked. Every person I have spoken to speaks highly of this place. It’s definitely a 5/5 on service, honesty, communication and quality of work. Definitely recommend. If you need work done and are on Vancouver Island be sure to use Dickson and Fraser. This is the best mechanic shop I have ever used.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateI don't live here but my friends use them and they have been great. I picked up their car and one of the belts that was replaced slipped off. We were moving the next day. They rushed the order for the new belt and had us back on the road in under an hour. It wasn't there fault but they fixed it fast and free.
I don't come across good mechanics at a good price very often. I highly recommend this place.
Dropped my truck off with a laundry list of repairs that I'd been procrastinating on, thinking I would be truck-less for a few days. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and thoroughly explained the process and even showed me the parts they were going to install, which was a pleasant surprise.
Even more surprising, I got a phone call the next day and Mike said it was ready to go! I couldn't believe it, but not only were they fast but the truck drives like new again. First-class operation.

I have been a customer since the mid 90's when my uncle recommended them after we moved to Duncan. He told me he found them to be a fair and honest business. I have found the same to be true! :-)
