Rosedale Manor

This is essentially an older 70s apartment that was converted into a hotel. It looked, felt, and smelled (noticably) like an older apartment unit with dated decor. Lacked dedicated check-in area. Was difficult to get a hold of management for things. Akward parking and all it takes is one car to block the path out. As with older buildings, you can hear noise from other units very easily so if the person upstairs turns their taps, you will hear it.

I was stunned to discover accidentally, when I got lost, that my key could be used to unlock other suites in the building. I unlocked and opened the wrong door and to my horror I heard someone say "Hello?!" from the darkness. This key also worked on upper floor units. I informed them of this issue and hopefully it was fixed.

They were very flexable and it's easy to simply stay as long as you need, although it does become expensive at 300-400 a week. It was better than staying at Falcon Nest or sleeping in my car though. The beds are new thankfully.

Stayed there for a week in summer 2018. Very pleased. The bathrooms and rooms were clean. Good amount of kitchenware made the stay quite pleasant. Cozy, a time capsule from what feels like 70s.

Stayed here a week and had a lovely time. Very clean and we had everything we needed in our kitchen to cook our meals. Highly recommend for the value because you get a full sized condo for the price of a motel room. Bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch.
