Great large space for groups or families, a little dated but can't beat the location and price. -

(February 9, 2023, 4:57 pm)Even if I could afford the ritzy hotels next door I would probably choose this place. I just hope it doesn't get bought out by a big chain and have more stars added. As it stands, the Fernie Slopeside Lodge is perfect- excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable beds. You can see the chairlift right outside the window and there is free parking right in front. Both Fernie and this hotel are a skier's dream.

(August 8, 2019, 2:20 pm)Clean and nice accommodation. If you don't want to break the bank for ski in ski out accommodations this is for you. If you want bells and whistles this is not for you. Staff for friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and pretty spacious. We stayed on the "basement" floor and it was great there was a door to the outside on our floor. There are no longer any hot tubs which is too bad. I recommend going into town for dinner as the restaurants on the resort were only okay.
