Mount Fernie Provincial Campground

Awesome campground, very clean and close to the town if any amenities become needed during your stay.

Lovely campground with reservation and first in first served options.
$30 per night which includes hot showers

The hosts were very helpful and compassionate addressing my needs.
Clean washrooms/showers and outhouses.
Comfortably hot enough water in the shower each time I went.
Recycling, bike wash station, outdoor dish washing area all here.
The sites are nice and big enough. It's hard to see your neighbors thru the trees. There are some big and old trees here.
Many families here.
There are dozens of hiking/mountain biking trails (☆☆☆☆) that start from inside this campground.
Probably a 5 minute car ride to downtown Fernie. Full amenities in the city.
Wood is for sale at the campground.

Fantastic campground, showers (mostly hot), very clean campsites in good condition, staff was very attentive and always doing rounds, great access to trails and Mount Fernie resort for hiking and biking.

This is a gem of a campsite, especially if you like to mountain bike. Trails are right on your doorstep. Facilities are great, but no dump station and the roads in the campsite are pretty bad. Lot's of pot holes. If you are expecting to hook up then this is not the place for you. Can't wait to return.
