After months of research and quotes for in ground pools we found Mod Pools and made a purchase. Recieving, craning, and installing has been a great experience. The best part is if I ever move i can take it with me. Mod Pools has made the whole experience painless and easy. I do however wish I would have spent the extra money for the cover. We made the decision to purchase a Modpool after ruling out the possibility of an in-ground pool (leach lines, septic interference). We've had it about 9 months now and have loved how it's been a part of our back yard transformation. Over the summer, we were in it almost nightly, utilizing the pool and hot tub portions. We live in Ohio, and opted to keep it open over the winter, which we will not do again due to the propane/electrical costs. The idea of keeping it open in the winter is great, however realistically the usage isn't worth the cost. The only issues we've had so far is a small rust spot in the pool. When we drain it, I will repair it and Modpools provides additional spray liner. We figured there would be some rust, as you'd have with anything being wet in an outdoor environment for an extended period of time. They've been great to work with after the fact, and have assisted me with some questions. I wish they would have sent over the manuals (digital) prior to the pool's arrival so I could have a leg up on maintenance and installation. In the end, our experience with them has been positive, and I would suggest one to anyone looking for a low-maintenance, modern concept to the swimming pool.
