  It's fishy to say the least. Waters edge has all kinds of trash while the grounds around the lake seem to be largely un monitored. Not a place to take my kids.

  Great lake close by awesome swimming area for kids and a separate beach for people with dogs. The dog beach is usually way less crowded so if your ok with having dogs around it is sometimes nicer. The swimming area is more of a sand beach and is roped off to water sports so safer for children. There is also a place to rent paddle boards and a wakeboarding area with jumps and stuff. There is not a lot of shade so if you have a tent or umbrella it would be best to bring it. All around I would recommend it for a close by swimm.

  This is another great place to remove cobwebs and dust from a cluttered mind. Not as close to City centre as Mill Lake.

  Excellent place to walk with a gravel path all the way around the lake.

  With young kids, having a lake within 10 minutes from our house is a huge selling point with this beach. It gets pretty crowded, and the out-houses are a fair distance from the swimming area, but it's water, and nice sand! Plus the pull-wakeboarding park is fun to watch!
