I would give it a five but then I might find something better. I never thought to review a lake, but another guide 'wondered' if there was in fish in the water. If you wish to fish there are fish in the water here. I think a few people have packed up their aquariums as it is full of goldfish. There are also large-mouth bass and rainbow trout. The bass are quite active during their normal times. The lake reaches a depth of 16m on the south-east portion, 8m on the south-west and north-east. Pretty swampy on the north-west and around the island. There are camping spots on the west side of the lake, but as far as I know there are no campfires in the Abbotsford district at any time of year. I like the view, the hike is not too bad for my physical condition and you don't need a boat to fish.

🏴 Flag as inappropriateQuick hike. Beautiful spot and often very quiet up there.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateNice little unexpected lake. Lovely trail with some great forest and some fun obstacles. Expect about an hour in and just a bit more out. The lake itself and surrounding woods shows a bit of traffic and wear. No outhouse facilities at theblake so expect to squat on the wild side if nature calls.
🏴 Flag as inappropriate45-minute hike from the parking area. A nice hike but long and hot depending on the month you visit. The lake isn't as nice as I had expected, not worth the trip.
