Sweet Jesus

Got the chocolate one. Not the GREATEST ice cream or soft serve ever, but it’s good and worth a taste if you’re at metrotown.

I can only vouch for their service which was extraordinary. I do not live in the province and wanted to get a cake delivered to my friend for his birthday, and I thought Sweet Jesus would be a great option. When I looked into it a few days in advance, all the cakes seemed to be sold out on the Uber eats app (which I was told was going to be the only way they would deliver). When I called the store to inquire, the manager on the phone assured me that he would make the cake available on the morning I needed it delivered; and he stayed true to his word! My friend got a wonderful cake for his birthday from me, someone that lives on the other side of the country thanks to the Sweet Jesus team.

Vanilla ice cream was creamy texture. The cookies and cream had actual cookie dough as a topping which was a nice touch. The hazelnut icecream was quite good. The kid size is sufficient size.

I ordered the Hazelnut ice cream cone but it was not as sweet as I expected! The soft serve tasted smooth but didn't have a rich fresh milky taste. The portion is big. Overall it is just okay.
