It was the right amount of archaeology mixed with just a hint of ethnology.

I've been here many times and it always feels like there's something new worth seeing. I love the densely packed international section with all the drawers to pull out and explore. It's like a little treasure hunt every time!

A well maintained Museum having beautiful sculptures, carvings and historicstructures are also good. There is a profile of a complete rock slab on a far wall, good for photography.

Though the room is small, the place is filled with information. Many of the artefacts exposed are described in great details. It also has a slice of the soil built into a wall with the first evidence of our early ancestors coming from Asia to come across North America. I would have given 4 stars, but I am giving 5 since Mr. Rob Rondeau took time to show me personally some of the exhibition and also took time to hear and add on to my curiosity and enquiries about themes I have shown and would like to extend on in class with my grade 3 students. I had a wonderful experience!

Quite small, just one room within the bigger university building. It is almost completely dedicated to the history of Aboriginal people's rather than archeology of a broader range, which might not be of interest to everyone. There is a great profile of a complete rock slab on a far wall, showing all the layers of BC with explanations for each layer.
