I highly recommend Dr. Jamie Gallant! Not only has he helped us with our daughter's digestive challenges but was also a wealth of Knowledge in educating us on preventative methods to aid in her health going forward. The staff is also wonderful to deal with and very accommodating!

One day a few years ago, I awoke covered in red welts. I figured the hives were caused by something that I had eaten, or come in contact with. I tried to find the cause but couldn't put my finger on it.
Being admittedly stubborn, I waited to go to the doctor as I knew the answer would be antihistamines (which i was already taking to try to help) or other drugs.

I went through everything. I kept a comprehensive food journal, changed soap, tried different detergent, only wore specific fabrics for a week at a time. Nothing seemed to be the trigger.
Exhausted, itchy, and defeated, I went to an Allergist.
This specialist showed no interest in figuring out the cause, and simply wanted to suppress the symptom.
I was diagnosed with CIU, prescribed an Immunosuppressant (The same drug you take when you receive an organ transplant) and told to book back in 6 months.
All of this for hives.

About a year later I met Dr.Gallant.
I'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical of Naturopathy.
For Naturopathic treatments to work, you must be in 100%. Otherwise it is a waste of time and money.
Jamie completely overhauled my diet. He let me know which foods to avoid, and which supplements to start taking.
It was a slow progression to start, but with patience and persistence, I started to see results. He eventually narrowed all of my symptoms down to the root cause.
All the while of treating my issues with hives, he was also silently working on desensitising my seasonal allergies.
I haven't taken an antihistamine since.

While I know that Naturopathic doctors can have a bad reputation, in my experience i can assure you that Dr.Gallant is different.

With Jamie's help, I have gotten better results from his methods and treatment than I did taking the prescription drugs.

I fly in for a visit whenever I can. I get relief from ailments that life has built up. And also surprise relief from things I've just come to expect as a part of getting old. This time the surprise was an overnight vanishing of my "mouse wrist and shoulder" pain. (If you work on a computer you know that breath stopping sear) It just disappeared as part of my overhaul. Dr Gallant doesn't over-prescribe. If I can get relief through education he'll recommend that. If I need a boost of something then he provides just enough of a high quality product. If I need specialized care, he is quick to recommend someone. But to be honest, his integrated skills are better than any specialist I've encountered.

My hay fever allergies now are almost non existent, and I am no longer allergic to cats!! I am so thankful to not have to deal with that anymore.
Jamie has helped 3 of my family members with various things over the years that no one else had been able to relieve.
I did learn that things are not always solved in one or two visits. That was unexpected but helpful to know for me.
