Freedom Dog Park

Not a particularly large dog park and the off leash area has a lot of sand and dirt which can lead to a messy pup but its not tiny so you can walk some of the smaller trails with your pup to avoid the commotion of the open area.

Clean park, a little on the small side, but my dog enjoys it, most of the dog owners I've met have been pleasant

Great open space with a fenced in trail to walk a dog off leash. Poop bags available.

Perfect little park within walking distance from my house. Nice little walking trail which is perfect for training my dogs to stay near off leash. There are a few downfalls to the park. 1. the amount of dog poop left by owners. They think it's a place to come and leg their dogs poop so they dont have to pick up at home.
2. There is alot of sand and when it rains it's a very messy area to be in. A alternative to this would be some wood chips like some of the better dog parks I have been to around North America. 3. The garbage cans inside and out that have garbage all over the ground. Maybe having someone show up more often to replace the garbage will make it more inviting. A love the park but it could use some maintenance and cleaning by pet owners and the city.

Very nice park. Do not like that people don't clean up after there pets and leave bags by the picnic table or throw in Bush. Come on people set a positive example and be responsible pet owner.
