This is one of the top 3 pokemon go locations in all of white rock, lots of different pokestops, including 2 gyms all in a very short distance from each other. It's also just a nice park in general, very clean, and with a fun local touch with all the stuffed animals placed around the duckponds. There are a lot, like a LOT, of Canadian geese, but they're generally quite docile. Also if you cross the road from the duckponds and just go into the shady area on the other side where the park continues there's always a ton of pokemon that you can pick up, always including at least one gen 1 starter. There's always a good amount of activity on community days too when the weather's nice, which is also fun

Right in the heart of White Rock/ South Surrey uptown so it gets a lot of foot traffic no matter what the season is. There's a pair of 'man-made hill', nearest entry point would be Southmere Crescent, when it snowed really hard, is a good spot for snow slides among the kids and adults, alike. Rain or shine, it's great for strolling even for the not-so-fit seniors because of the easy trails and almost flat pathways. There are also benches to sit on to simply enjoy the scene and pass the time.
