BjornBar Bakery - BURQUITLAM

Delicious coffee and food. I have loved everything that I have tried in here. I highly recommend the meringues (I have now tried every flavor). It always seems to be busy but the queues move quickly. The staff are very polite and efficient. I do wish there were more seats. They do have seating outside which will be great during the summer.

What a cute little coffee shop! It’s a nice change from the typical Starbucks and Timmy’s. Great drinks, food and customer service! The staff politely advised us that they were closing but not to rush out as we were finishing up. She seemed to really enjoy connecting with the customers. We need more of this atmosphere, good vibes, good community. The only disappointment was that it closes at 7pm. Wished it was open a bit later in the spring/summer until 8 or 9pm.

This sentence is the last time I will use the word but or however in this review. BjornBar simply gets everything just right. It's one of those places that makes just being there pleasurable. The many windows surrounding the space makes it feel larger than it is and contribute to to the street vibe while maintaining the comfort of the indoors. That is just the start, because the pastries and coffee and other goodies are all first rate. You can see it just by looking as everything is on prominent display as it should be in such a place. And it tastes just as good as it looks. There service is quick and efficient and lineups move along quickly.

First time trying this place out off of recommendation from friends. Absolutely loved it! The cafe and bakery is really new and clean, the staff are friendly and the baked goods we tried were great. Will definitely have to come back to try more. A great addition to the community. Gave me downtown Vancouver cafe vibes if that makes sense.

Good food and coffee with reasonable amount of place to sit. Nice fireplace and couch in the back. Love all the pastries and sweets. Looking forward to trying some breakfast/lunch foods.
