We saw Ayasha when my daughter was 22months and not saying nearly as many words as her friends. We were concerned and although we felt like we were getting along fine with sign language, we wanted some additional insight and help to ensure we were getting on top of things early and proactively rather than reactively down the road. Our meetings with Ayasha were so helpful at understanding how to encourage our daughter to work on her expressive language skills and we saw results over the next few months. Our daughter is exposed to 3 different languages on a daily basis and we wanted someone who was happy to encourage that exposure and not limit it and we've noticed throughout our work with Ayasha her expressive and receptive skills in every single language had improved significantly. We went from just below the concerning lowest percentile and are now slightly above average and high above average in receptive skills. We're so grateful for the compassionate, hard-working, meet-us-where-we're-at, and anxiety reducing help Ayasha offered us. Highly recommend her if you're looking for an SLP to work with your family. What an awful and nervous feeling it was to feel like our child was struggling to communicate and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders after getting support from Ayasha.
