Delicious Mexican food - tingled all my senses

We used to be in love with this restaurant but I truly got disappointed lately. Their food is still in quality but they need to improve their service like before.

We had our first dining experience here recently and I can honestly say that the enchiladas suizas are the best enchiladas I've ever had. The sauce was flavourful and there was a generous amount of melted cheese draped over the top of the 4 enchiladas on the plate. Presentation was beautiful and appetizing.

We started with guac and chips and it was delicious and flavourful. Could possibly use a little more lime for a bit more flavour.

The side of black beans that I ordered were good as well, but I feel that a small portion of rice and beans included with the $21 meal would feel a bit more fair as it's pretty standard at most Mexican restaurants.

The strawberry margarita had good flavour - fresh and not too sweet - but could have used a little more tequila to enhance the flavour and make it seem a bit more like it actually had alcohol in it.

We found the service to be quite slow when we went, but there was a large wedding party seated in the garden behind the building, so perhaps that was a factor. It took a long time to get our first drinks and also the second round.

Overall, we liked the food a lot, but did find it a bit pricey given that if you want rice or beans with most dishes, you have to pay extra. That seems like a bit of a cash grab considering how inexpensive rice and beans typically are.

We will go back, but will probably not order drinks to keep the bill down as they were definitely overpriced.
