The main temple is not open now due to covid. That was disappointting but the rest of the gardens are still nice to see. You may leave offerings of fruit, flowers and cash donations.

There are cute cheesy plastic deer statues. Each deer has a label on its back asking you not to ride on the deer in English and Chinese. It made me laugh. You'd think that would be a given but....some people lol

I'm not a Buddhist but I enjoyed the experience and as with most religious places, there is a sense of calm.

The section with the dark statues is worth a visit. The expression on the faces is unique and funny.

I'd recommend popping in and having a visit. This place is an experience.

    Cheer

The inside temple is now closed to public, You can walk on the outskirt of the complex, they do allow incense burning which they don't allow for inside the complex. Good place to visit even if you are not Buddhist.

No one was permitted to enter the great hall due to covid19 this year. It's not the same anymore. But, everyone was able to buy incense to pay our respect and pray just outside the entrance to the temple.

Have you ever been swamped both at work and at home!?
International Buddhist Society ( the Temple ), is open to the public for visits or worship. Even if you are not Buddhist, this place will give you a clam feeling, the lotus garden and the water feature will also slows you down and literally smell the flowers!

Simply peaceful, informative, full of beauty and nature. I enjoyed my tour of the Buddhist temple in Vancouver. It was free to enter, just leave a slight donation. Once you walk in, think positive thoughts, pray, become uplifted with spirituality and beauty.
