I booked an on line appointment with the pharmacist for an aliment that pharmacists can now write prescriptions for. I arrived at my appointment and the pharmacist was so rude. She said that she didn't have time to access me and that she was so busy (there was literally no one there).

When I told her I had made my appointment online, she said checked and saw the appointment on her computer but insisted that this was a computer error and that she wasn't taking in-person appointments unless I wanted a flu shot. She was far too busy - again there was no one else there. If the online system glitched and allowed me to make an appointment, then why not call/text/email me to cancel the appointment instead of letting me come there and then turning me away? She wasn't apologizing or being sympathetic, she was being rude and condescending.

She then proceeded to tell me that in order to access me she had to go through a list of questions, then access my situation and decide if I needed a prescription, further assessment or if I should go see a doctor and she didn't want to go through the list of questions. She suggested I take some over the counter meds and see a dr if I get worse. In all of the time she was lecturing me about her procedure, why not ask me the list of questions?

Honestly, what a waste of time. The pharmacist (who was also the owner) was absolutely useless. I wouldn't recommend going to this Shoppers if you need any help or advice.

Side note - I did go to another Shoppers (No. 5 and Cambie) and they were packed - about 10 people waiting in their reception area and the pharmacist had no issue taking my appointment and helping me out. Even though this location was far busier, their customer service was excellent.
