Great place for tourism. Its a lot art in there and all will love to see. School students make art that is displayed there if you are a tourist like me you must go to beer creek park and art gallery . You can also see train ? and there are also many rides in the park you can always go there there on weekends. You won’t see many people there and also rides are closed due to pandemic but it will open soon......

My wife and I saw Kim's Convenience play in Surrey Arts Center. Fortunately, we had booked in advance on their easy to use website.

The venue is perfect to come see such plays. Good comfy seats, with lots of good options like wine and beer that they sale to enjoy during the show.

With lots of free parking it's the best Arts Center!

On the evening of February 19th I attended a talk and discussion of the Spindle Whorl travelling exhibition with renowned Musqueam artist, Susan Point at the SAC Theatre. Susan was easy going natural when describing her work over the years 1981 - 2020. Starring with learning silk screen printing and later branching out to learn many other creative arts, she described her history and creative process with help from her son Tom. The natural world became her greatest influence with salmon and frogs the signature motifs in the work. During the question and answer period the audience asked and referred to many interesting aspects of her career including her heritage, carving, stained glass creations, manhole covers, public relief creations & intaglio prints. All in all I had a wonderful evening. During the reception I was able to chat with Susan and convey my gratitude to her and her family for their contribution to my love, understanding and appreciation of her contemporary art practice.

What a refreshing surprise. A small art gallery that's dynamic and alive and has tons of art everywhere. Imagine... lots of free art stuck on every wall and even floating from the ceiling for any and all to contemplate and enjoy... carefully curated and labelled so onlookers have a very good idea of what they're looking at and who the artist may be. Imagine, if maybe some of the VAG's and others of their ilk took a little trip out to Surrey... maybe they could learn something?
