I learned about Roots and Wings Heritage House through my cousin who had nothing but great things to say about the school. My 2 nephews went there, now my 2 kids attend R&W. The community and teachers are wonderful, warm and loving. My daughter has learned and grown so much from their preschool program. This is a great place for children.

I can highly recommend this school as we had a great experience with them. My child went to this school for around 1 year and we were highly satisfied with the service the Roots and Wings gave to us.
All the teachers are very polite and kind, they are friendly to the kids they are responsible for. There are 2 types of school there: pre school (where the children learn how to read & write and play according to the Montessori standards. The teachers help kids to learn & talk English as well if English isn't your kid's first language. There were music lessons as well during the school week and my kid was extremely happy to be there in that environment. The second part of the day he spent in the daycare, mostly playing outside if the weather was OK.
RW has a small garden where the kids can play & learn about the plants, a big sandbox with toys, several swings & children's slide.
All the RW's staff were doing their best to follow up the children.
There're normally around 8-10 children at a time, maybe a little bit more, but there're always 2-3 teachers to look for them. Just enough to make this place safe.
From the safe perspective, it is good to know that the teachers have all the certificates & go through the certification process so they can handle with unpredictable situations.
It was too sad for us to say good bye to the school but we had to transition to the public catchment school.
By the way, there is a plan to expand the playground facility at Heritage Location: do the riding path for trikes; soil digging area; role play/fort area; tree fort, observation area and some other stuff.
If we have a second child, we would definitely go to RW again!

My older son went to the Surrey centre location and I always found the staff to be courteous, responsible and available to discuss any concerns. Three years later, my younger son is going to the Heritage home location and I'm very pleased with the amazing work the teachers are doing there.

My daughter has gone to Roots & Wings for two years now and I couldn’t be happier for her to go into her third year. Her teachers are so kind and nurturing and their love of children and the Montessori philosophy is evident. I love that they have guided my daughter to become independent, outspoken, and empathetic. They have timely parent-teacher meetings to discuss the children’s progress and I am always so impressed by the detailed notes and observations they have about my daughter’s progress. I can’t say enough great things about this school and will be sending my second daughter here too!

I've had 2 children at R&W for a year now and I have no complaints. My older daughter goes to their "Forest School" in Langley and spends a lot of time outdoors (which she loves). My other girl is in Kindergarten and really enjoying it. The teachers are always very responsive to my concerns.
