I recently helped two Sisters move into Chartwell. initially they were very sceptical, but absolutely love being there. The food is fabulous, their unit is wonderful and they are gradually starting to participate in the activities. As they told me they could not be happier this was the right move for them. Nicola put them in touch with the Realtor who sold their home, the mover, and the organizer to help them sort out and pack, making the move as stress free and as easy as possible. Thank you I know they will continue to enjoy life there - it was absolutely the best move for them.

Mom moved into Chartwell Imperial Place in September 2021, and since that time she hasn't looked back! She took a cautious approach when making her decision to transition to the next phase of her life, expressing concerns about leaving everything behind her and starting new. Nothing could have been further from the truth! Since moving, Mom has not only maintained her active social life that she always had, but she's made many NEW and special friends at Chartwell, and her life has become even better - and although this was a secondary consequence, her family feels so much better now knowing that she is being well taken care of! Mom is more active now than she has been in years. Since her move she is thriving, and hasn't lamented her decision for a minute.

Mom also can't stop raving about the compassionate and helpful staff at Chartwell. Everyone has made her feel welcome, and gone above and beyond what she had ever expected...Keep it to yourself, but I think she has a crush on Rodney!

My mother moved into Imperial Place last year. It's been a difficult time for her: recovering from two major injuries, my dad's passing, and of course Covid; so we really weren't sure what to expect. Also, my mom is fiercely independent and wasn't keen on giving up control of day-to-day things like cooking and cleaning.

Fast forward a few months and she's calling it her home now. She's settling into the community and has made many friends.

The staff at Imperial Place have exceeded my expectations! They all clearly care about the residents and do their utmost to ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone there.

From our first contact, Nicola has been accommodating and compassionate; maintenance requests have been quickly handled by Rodney; Declan and the kitchen staff have worked around my mom's numerous dietary issues; housekeeping staff are always cheerful and efficient; and personal health issues have been promptly addressed by Heidi.

It truly is a relief for me, knowing my mother is safe and happy at Imperial Place.

Mom put up quite a fight not to leave her home of 60+ years and although The Imperial Place was her first choice we were quite concerned. You can't imagine our relief when after 2 weeks she was calling the Imperial home and said she didn't want to go back to her house. This was all due to the staff and how they worked so hard to make her welcome. Nicola made the transition so easy for Mom and ourselves, she was always there to answer questions, and allay concerns.
Happy New Year and thanks to all the staff of Chartwell Imperial Place

My Mom just recently moved in to Imperial Place. After looking at a few facilities, this was her first choice - it was the nicest, the staff were pleasant and the residents seemed friendly. Before her first dining experience, she was hesitant and a little nervous. A staff member took her down to the dining room and she was seated at a table where the residents were very welcoming. The staff checked in on her for the first few days to make sure she was settling in and addressed any questions and concerns that she had.

It is of great assurance that my Mom is in a place she calls her new "home" where the staff are kind, friendly and very helpful. It is a good feeling that when we put our heads down at night the only call we get from my Mom is, where did she put her iron!

We cannot thank everyone enough for all their patience, kindness and helpfulness - everyone we have met has been amazing!
