It had been at least 2 years since my last Vancouver visit ...

And 2 Butter Tarts, a Nanaimo Bar, and half a bag of Cheezies later, it was past the point of no return and so I experienced yarn ecstasy issues ...

... I blame the FULL MOON! But Monday Knit Night was well attended with a warm welcome and lively conversations!

West Coast Yarns carries a wise selection of Canada-sourced yarns and it is a place where the born-again Cowichan Sweaters is a THING; They have homegrown Canadian Cowichan yarn;

And OMG I have a bag of Canadian yarn, a new set of interchangeable cable needles — and I am left wondering ... Who?!? Added raisins to our iconic Butter Tarts??!

I just love this beautiful wool store in Vancouver B.C. I got a gift card and could hardly wait to go over there. And two days later i went back and bought some more. It is a great welcoming store and extremely friendly staff, especially Kelsey. They have an amazing variety of wools and it totally inspires you. Cant wait for my next visit.Thank you for your kindness when i shopped there.

The yarn selection is very good and even better is the staff who are helpful, friendly, and very generous with their time and skill.

My girlfriend loves the place. There's a fantastic selection of yarn here for any project you can think of. Colors, weights, etc. They've got it all.
The staff are always incredibly helpful giving tips and advice for anything you're trying to do. Real pros in here.
They also offer lots of cool classes for aspiring knitters.
Overall a great little shop.
