Great place for a haircut, staff is extremely friendly and the salon is extremely clean

Just got an amazing haircut here. The hairstylist who attended to me was very professional and knew what to do just by looking at a photo of my hair when it was shorter.

The service is pretty great too - not only are the hairstylists very friendly, they also wash your hair and give you a head/neck massage at the end of the haircut. Also, like what the other reviewers have mentioned, the salon serves Pocky and a beverage while you wait.

Loved the whole experience, already recommended it to my friends, and hope this review helps you make up your mind.

It was my first visit. I was looking for a new salon with good massage and comfort seating for hair wash, Hive was recommended. I read the reviews on Google before my visit and made an appointment with Jun for roots coloring and hair cut. People were all very friendly, and I can see Jun is very pro with hair cutting. But this place is way overwhelmed. When I arrived, he was dealing with two clients already. It took only about 10 minutes for him to finish my hair cut. He did a good job. Then rush to the next client, then the next, the next, and the next. My hair color was done by two nice ladies, maybe with less experience I guess. They have to take phone calls during the time they apply color to my hair or do blow drying. And after I got home, I can see an obvious color difference ( a line between my hair top and bottom). I would say Jun is talented. But when I got only 10 minutes attention during a 2 hour visit, not coming back~

I am not a haircut specialist to comment on the haircut but I had a great experience at hive. They are very kind and polite, and value their customers. You also get a drink and snack while getting your haircut done which is awesome. It’s better to get an appointment before going there as they are usually booked.
