I highly recommend Don to anyone who is interested in boxing/kick boxing, even MMA related boxing. He takes his time to make sure you know how to protect yourself inside and outside the ring. World class instruction right here in nanaimo

I enjoyed training with Don so much, he made me fall in love with kickboxing. He encouraged me to push myself and trained me hard but also had me work at my pace and knew when I needed to rest.
Tomari Martial Arts is such a professional and fun environment, I would so love to still train with Don if I hadn't moved out of the country.
Hands down best Martial Arts place in Nanaimo, and I've tried out many.

I have been training with Don during my semester abroad at VIU and it was one of the most amazing experiences I made there! He is a very professional, patient, kind, and funny teacher, I cannot imagine a better person to learn from. You can always rely on him when it comes to reaching your personal goals since he makes it his mission to take you there.
He will push you to your limits and beyond and shows you that you can do much more than you now think you could.

Tomari IS the place to be if you want to simply learn and have fun, or compete in the ring. I have had the opportunity to train under Mr. Arnott currently and I truly believe he is one of the BEST coaches internationally!
I hold several Pro card titles in other sports and have had World Class Coaches, and I have to say Don ranks to be the BEST i have ever had. He is patient and very knowledgeable. It does not matter if you have experience or you have none. I just wish I would have found him sooner!!!

I recommend this club to EVERYONE. I even have my son enrolled in Tomari. It can be a fun-filled family fitness experience as well!
