Stemwinder would be perfect if it had showers and less road noise. That said, the park is well maintained, clean, and the river is beautiful. Staff are super courteous.

Only stayed there for a night but it was a good night, kind of close to the Highway but thats alright it gets really quiet at night. One of the only real problems is the way down to the river is kind of steep and falling apart (atleast one of the ways down) Overall it was a good 1 day and 1 night stay.

Beautiful place. You can swim in the rivers and lakes. Lots of campgrounds are right off the highway so if you rent one, rent one deeper in, along the river ideally, to drown the highway noise out. Ranger that takes care of the campgrounds is really nice

Beautiful, convenient, well maintained camp ground with lovely park operators! Tricky access to the river but worth it. Try and pick a site away from the highway because the traffic can be a bit loud. 10/10 would come again!

We found out new favorite close to home campsite. We were lucky and had the entire park to ourselves, which always makes camping better, but I assume it's just as nice when the park is full because of how spread apart all the sites are.

It would have been perfect if the rangers had come through earlier with fire wood, and if they had bothered to come back the second night at all. One night without a fire kinda sucks. We would never cut down trees to make a fire, but others might, so you guys need to make fire wood easier to get! Especially in the early spring when we're still allowed to have fires!
