We used this rescue to adopt our wonderful pup a year and a half ago. We put in our application and heard back within a couple of days. The application process is thorough and the organization does it's best to match the dogs that are best suited to people's responses on the application to ensure that the pups and owners are a good fit for each other. After all, these pups have been abandoned/surrendered before and they do their best to ensure that this does not happen again. After hearing back, we were able to meet and get our dog shortly after having a phone interview. I highly recommend this rescue for any pet lover looking to adopt as they truly love and care for all the animals that come to them. I've recommended them to multiple people and they have all found similar success and professionalism with OLH. Can't say enough good things about this organization!

This is hands down one of the best rescues around. They are doing this to save dogs not to make money. Quality over Quantity. Jeanine makes certain dogs go to good homes where they will be loved and cared for. My little guy is the love of my life and Im glad i got to support such a worthy cause at the sametime

We adopted Chico from Our Last Hope 3 years ago. It was an awesome experience, we took our older boy along to the meet and greet and Oscar picked Chico as his furever friend. We were notified quickly as a possible home. We were also given time for both boys to adjust. Our Last Hope is a great option to adopt from. They are caring and responsible and above all love the dogs and cats that come to them. adoptions are professional and the animals are well cared for with good follow up and they want to make sure you get the right fit for your family. we have had our dog Bailey for almost 5 years and they still check in with us to make sure everything is going smoothly.
