Base Camp Coffee

Great food, coffee, and service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

We made great experience with the Base Camp Café in Town (4548 Marine Ave, Powell River, BC) and thought that's going to contuine with this Base Camp Café. So, on our way to Lund we past by, but unfortunately our dream didn't had a happy ending. The service here was rather unmotivated and slow (even though there were no people). The coffee and muffin taste was okey. Surprisely for us a total different experience then the delicious stuff we got at the Base Camp Café in Town!
Therefore, we warmly recommend you to drive just a little bit further and visit the Base Camp Café in Town.

Stopped by this cute coffee shop during our visit to Powell River. Super friendly staff. I had a Lavender Bliss tea and Cabin cookie - so good! The cookie was packed with seeds, nuts and raisins (cranberries?). Almost granola bar-like. Very tasty, filling and fueled me up for the day's adventures. Tea was absolutely lovely. Check out their great merch and of course the Sasquach mural!!! Highly recommend.

New review based on fast response to my previous single star. Thank you for responding, I've deleted the review. This review removes the impact of that unpleasant experience, which most likely comes down to providing proper training to your employees on opening protocols.

Super cozy and chill local coffee shop tucked away in a corner of Powell River Historical District with freshly roasted beans and friendly owner. Can't believe it is not even listed on Google (until now)!
