Powell River Harbour Guesthouse & Hostel

Wow! The best little hostel I've been to. Rooms are spare (as in all hostels), but up to date and clean. Bathrooms likewise, but with really nice rain showerheads as well. The common room is cozy, quirky, and cute. Edwin (the owner/manager) is amazing. Super friendly and a really interesting guy if you get chatting. An easy 5 stars.

The PR Hostel is an awesome spot to stay, especially for tired hikers and wet cyclists! Super clean rooms and modern bathrooms (with fabulous showers) a cozy common space and beautiful sundeck with an ocean view. Secure bike storage and a place to clean stinky clothes! Close to delicious food and coffee shops and a stone's throw from the ferry. Great rates and an amazing guest experience. Thanks Edmind! We'll definitely be back!

This hostel has recently renovated rooms, very comfortable private room and the bathrooms were gorgeous! Much more than one would expect of any hostel. The best thing about this place is the location, you are closer to the water than most hotels and there is a lovely outdoor patio you can enjoy your coffee or a beer. Also conveniently located above a Thai restaurant that has delicious and authentic food. The owner Edwin was very friendly and the kitchen had absolutely everything you would need. Great spot!

Excellent and cozy hostel. Hosted us the day before doing the Sunshine coast tail and again for a night when we got back. Excellent location by the water front. Dorms and bathrooms were very modern and comfortable. Wifi connect was very reliable. Also has laundry facilities and storage for bags for $5 a night.

My first hostel stay and it was a great experience. Edwin was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean and the location can't be beat! Right beside the ferry terminal and Downtown Powell River with all the shops/services. 20 mins walk to Willingdon beach park. Definitely recommended! Thanks!
