These people are so nice. One time I had to use the washroom and I wasn't even a patron at their restaurant and they still let me use it! What gems. Please give them your business!

    Solid food.
The chef Sean comes out and checks with all of his clients got feedback.

My favorite out of the items we ordered was the jerk chicken. It was not spicy, but we were told later that we could have adjusted the spice level. We did recommend that the server let us know ahead of time for those that are new coming in.
The ox tail soup was good. The rice and peas (which are actually beans) were bland, however if you eat it with something more flavorful such as the jerk chicken or the oxtail it balances out. My one disappointment was the amount of plantains given which was two pieces as a side. We did speak to them about how it didn't seem balanced and the price point appears high for that. If it was priced better it would easily be a go to.

The sorrel drink has a bite to it. It hits you in the back of the throat. If you want something different than your regular drinks and have never tried it, I would definitely recommend.

    Service is casual and friendly.
Parking is Street parking. There is some in front of the restaurant, but they go fast, but you can drive a bit too the side streets.

Excellent! I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and plantain. The food was authentic, gave me a taste of home (Jamaica). The serving size was appropriate, food well presented. Food was delivered relatively fast . The price was fair staff friendly and pleasant. We will definetly be returning.

Delicious food!!. We had the jerk chicken sandwich and jerk chicken burger. Both were fantastic with tender and well flavoured chicken, and great bun/bread. Unfortunately the salad didn't impress, but the fries were some of the best I've had in the city. Nice and crispy on the outside with a soft inside. The service was also very warm and friendly! Will definitely be returning to try the dinner dishes.

Went here thinking the Star Grill was still there. Pleasant surprise to find the new owners who greeted us graciously and served a delicious ham and bean soup and jerk fish sandwich. The chef came out to say hello. It was a lovely lunch. Good luck, K&S!
