Brett or Brent (sorry if I’m so off on that ??‍♀️...i meant to write this when the names were fresh) and Parker at this branch are such nice guys and they helped me carry in a prolly 50-60 pound box full of rolled change during this whole pandemic and didn’t complaint for a second. They were so kind and I even said “sorry I know this is prolly annoying considering everything going on” and the response was “oh no worries it’s something different to do”. I don’t understand at all why the reviews are negative because I am so happy and specifically chose this branch when I moved to the city because everyone was always so kind and generous from day one! Anyways! Sorry to make u read a long review I just had to make sure people can see the positive side of this branch because they have always been so helpful to me over the past few years and I always feel respected and well taken care of when I leave. Thanks Taylor avenue Scotiabank! You guys are great! ☺️
Edit: I see people complaining about bus routes to this location but I’m positive there is a bus stop less than a block away because I see people standing at it almost every time I drive that road, so that’s untrue. Also treat people how you want to be treated and you’ll probably be treated well, act like a jerk over an issue that’s usually automatic (NSF fees and direct deposit) and you will get a bad attitude back. I dunno just a suggestion to maybe be kind to others in order to receive kindness in return. Not being a jerk I’m just saying not everything is under our control and with banks there comes fees and if ur short money u will probably be charged. I did notice a 5$ fee rather than a 40$ fee if the NSF was less than 10$ and if u make sure to deposit the amount ur short the same day u won’t be charged the NSF fee, from my experience.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about but the staff is very friendly. Always delt with my concerns. Always greeted when I walk in. They even have the bus stop right in front of the branch. The hours are very convivent as they are open till 8pm on some days

I have had nothing but courteous and professional help from the people of this branch. The hours are great too.
