I’m not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to write one for Amber Joy & Co because I think it’s important to share my experience. I have been seeing Amber for years! From my first meeting with her, I absolutely adored her! She has the perfect balance of professionalism and playfulness so you instantly feel comfortable and reassured that you’re in great hands (and you are!!). Her passion for hair comes through in her words and her work!! She takes the time to get to know her clients and learn what they would like and what would work with their skin tone, hair type, etc. She really is the best at what she does!!!! Now for the team....most times when you walk in, you’re greeted by Catherine, who always remembers your name, previous conversations you’ve had and takes a genuine interest in the clients that walk through the door - a real gem!!!! And that’s the atmosphere at Amber Joy & Co - warm, inviting and empowering!!! The team consists of strong women lifting each other up and supporting one another. You won’t find any cattiness there. It’s just an amazing group of women who dedicate themselves to lifting each other up and making each client feel beautiful when they leave. They make you feel heard. They make you feel seen and they make you feel beautiful....every single time.

I have been going to Amber for my hair care for over 10 years. Not only is she extremely talented and skilled at her craft, she is consistent. She ensures her and her stylists’ work is on point and if something doesnt turn out, she corrects it. Shes realistic about clients’ expectations and you can always count on her honest opinion because she knows what does or doesnt look good. Her team of stylists are an extension of her talented work (shes always sharing her craft) as well as her energy which makes the salon a warm and welcoming place to relax and be pampered. Plus they also give the best head massages! If you cant get in with Amber because of her neverending waiting list, book with her other stylists, they do excellent work and shes always on the floor guiding/helping them so its like youre getting a two for one!

Amber and her team are amazing. They’re so accommodating, and always go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. Their skills are impeccable and I always leave happy. I love the vibes these girls have, it’s always fun visiting them.
