I selected this hotel based on internet reviews and @$200.00/ night there was no way I was staying at the Best Western Plus (choke).

Upon arrival I questioned my booking, the exterior is rather underwhelming given its 80’s facade.

    However,

Once inside I was greeted by very friendly staff and updated decor. The room was nicely finished with very nicely bathroom fixtures; the water pressure was fantastic as well the amount (endless?) of hot water.

The restaurant inside had decent selection though was a bit pricey for the location. Full breakfast was included which again was very good.

    Don’t pass on this Gem!

I'm so glad we stayed here again! We didn't stay here for awhile because we had a bad experience the time before. However we are so impressed with the improvements made! Cleaner pool and cleaner rooms! I'm also impressed with the presence of staff members to make sure the patrons at the pool are following the rules ! That was an issue we had last time. There is new security features with the elevator as well. You need a room keycard to use it. This made us feel so safe! We will be back again for sure!

The convention space is spectacular. One of the best parts is the ample free parking. The meeting rooms are large and bright. Staff is quick to help with audio/visual and temperature issues. The staff move quickly and quietly while setting up meals during meetings.

The dinosaur pool was fun for the kids! We had a gathering in the large boardroom and it was nice. Refreshments were fresh. Coffee and tea were hot. We had our own private washrooms. This is a great place to hold meetings!

I stayed at the Victoria Inn for three nights while attending a conference. The rooms were reasonably clean but not exceptionally so. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to put more emphasis on room cleaning. The conference facility worked well. Meals were good. Our banquet meal of prime rib was excellent. Rooms and audio visual equipment worked well for presentations. Staff were helpful and quick to clear tables. Overall a satisfactory experience for the conference. Close to the airport with a free shuttle as well.
